City Council Election Debates!!!

    The Concerned Citizens Council of Big Spring/Howard County is pleased to announce an event to help inform and enlighten the voters of the city of Big Spring.

WHAT:  CCC City Council Debate

WHEN:  April 19th, 2008  5:30 PM (Broadcast begins at 6 PM)

WHERE:  Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Howard College

    On May 10th, voters in Districts 1 and 3 will go to the polls to elect their representatives to the city council.  We have invited all of the candidates to take part in these debates.  Those candidates are:

District 1:  Stephanie Horton (Incumbent

                   Marcus Fernandez (Challenger)

District 3:  JoAnn Staulcup (Incumbent)

                   John "Huck" Huckabee (Challenger)

    The debate will be carried LIVE on KBYG Radio - AM 1400.  Questions for the candidates will come from both the live audience and from listeners at home via a moderator.
